| Charak tour border areas of Bishnah constituency | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Oct 11: The MLC and Former Minister Gulchain Singh Charak extensively tourist of border areas of Bishnah constituency and addressed a series of public meetings at villages Changia (Arnia), Kotli, Pindi Kodwal camp and kotla. While highlighting the pertinent problems of the border belt, the speakers on the occasion listed the problems of irrigation, electricity, dilapidated conditions of roads old age pension, widow cases and border fencing and stressed for their early redressal. Addressing the meetings Charak assured the people that every step will be taken to mitigate their sufferings. He highlighted the steps taken by him during his last tour of the area where problems of irrigation and roads to some extent were addressed. He appealed the people to remain vigilant and immediately inform him in case of any lapses in functioning of the concerned departments who are executing various works in the area. He appealed the people to strengthen the congress party by giving it a thumping majority in the coming assembly elections. Anant Ram, Amar Nath, Des Raj, Buti Ram, Kasturi, K.C Mistry, B.D. Sharma and various other senior party workers accompanied him during the tour. |
