| Speaker meets Governor | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, Oct 11: Speaker Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Tara Chand called on the Governor N.N. Vohra and discussed various issues relating to the development schemes which are presently in progress in Khour area. He urged for timely completion of all these schemes.
During the course of meeting, Tara Chand raised various issues which include enhancement in the wages of daily rated employees working in Public Health Engineering (PHE) and other departments in Jammu division from Rs. 500 to Rs. 2100, implementation of recommendations of 6th Pay Commission, raising the retirement age of employees from 58 to 60 years, filling of vacancies on fast track basis and regularization of all those workers who have completed seven years of service. |
