Kichloo demands relief for fire victims

KISHTWAR, Oct 12: Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo, Ex-MLA Kishtwar has expressed shock and grief over the loss suffered due to fire that broke out in village Chai-draman of Warwan area of District Kishtwar in which about 40 houses have been burnt.
In a statement issued today, he has expressed sympathies with the families of the sufferers and demanded grant of ex-gratia relief of Rs. 2.00 lakhs each to the effected families, besides making adequate arrangement for their rehabilitation.
Kichloo, who visited the affected village, distributed 200 blankets, 200 jackets, sweaters, and clothing's for women and children and impressed upon the government to provide six month’s free ration to the victims, besides timber and iron sheets on war footing for construction of their houses before the first snowfall.
