JAMMU, Oct 12: Strongly criticizing the Kashmiri leadership and Kashmir based political parties for their communal, parochial and anti- Jammu mind set, President JSM(P) Prof Virender Gupta has said that the role of Kashmiri leaders during Shri Amarnath Shrine Board land issue, including those of the so called Kashmir based mainstream political parties has vindicated the stand of Jammu State Morcha (P) that there is no hope for the people of Jammu region to get justice in the present political set up where Jammu region remains a part of Jammu and Kashmir State.
Addressing a rally at Nagrota today, he said that National Conference considers Kashmir as its core constituency and all its programs are policies are only Kashmir oriented even though these are against the interests of the people of Jammu region. This is the party which passed the Constitutional Amendment Bill in 2001 for debarring Delimitation of Constituencies till the fresh census is held after 2026 thus completely crushing the demand of Jammu region for the enhancement of seats in the state legislature. |
