| SSP Ramban visits far flung area at Neel Batto | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Oct 12: Senior Superintendent of Police Sunil Dutt visited the far flung area of Neel Batto of district Ramban today. Dutt. visited the area to review the security arrangements and to have first hand knowledge about the problems being faced by the people. It was the first visit of Dutt to this far flung area of this district after resuming the charge of SSP Ramban. He was accompanied by SDPO Banihal Jaswant Singh Katoch and DYSP (SSR) Mr. Arun Gupta. During his visit he interacted with the senior citizens Sarpanches, Panches, leaders of various Political/religious parties including all police officers/officials.. The participants put before the SSP the problems being faced by them which included construction of Community Centre, recruitment of unemployed youth in the police department through special recruitment drive, establishment of Hr.Secondary School and examination centres. Moreover, they also requested that speeding up of road connectivity under PMGYS schemes should be put on progress. The SSP gave a patient hearing to the grievances of the Public and assured them that their problems will be taken up with the concerned authorities for redressal of the same. The SSP also appealed to participants to come forward and help the police in order to curb the militancy and crime in the area. He also stressed them for maintenance of communal harmony and brotherhood. People extended their full cooperation to Police form their side. |
