| PDP shocked over fire at Marwah | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, Oct 13: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president Mehbooba Mufti has expressed grief and sorrow over the mysterious fire incident which engulfed 85 residential houses at Chi Draman village of Marwah in Kishtwar last night. The party leadership has also exhorted on the Governor's administration to immediately take steps for the rehabilitations of the fire victims.
A special relief team led by PDP senior leader Syed Asghar Ali today visited the affected village where in they distributed relief items among the fire victims. Mufti has appealed to the government to provide immediate relief to the fire victims, besides timber and galvanized tin sheets for reconstruction of the gutted houses and for free ration to the affected families. |
