| Leh utilized 34% of plan outlay till Oct | | | EARLY TIMES REPOT
LEH, Oct 13: The 2nd General Council meeting of LAHDC, Leh, met here today to review the financial and physical achievements registered in various sectors during the current fiscal.
The meeting which was chaired by Chief Executive Councilor, Chhering Dorje was attended by the Executive Councilors including Tsering Narboo Lampa, Dorje Mutup, Mohammed Khan, Stanzin Delik, leader of the opposition in the house and Councillor Skyu-Markha, Rigzin Spalbar, Councilor, Deputy Commissioner/ Chief Executive Councillor Ajeet Kumar Sahu and other District Officers.
Reviewing each and every development works of Leh district, Chhering Droje strongly urged upon the implementing departments to ensure 100% achievement in every respect. He also stressed the need for completion of works in speedier way keeping in view the fast approaching winter. He urged the Councillor to monitor the works in their respective constituencies.
Responding to the points raised by the opposition leader, Dorje assured that all the major and important issues at council level would be redressed by taking the opposition in confidence for larger benefit and interest of the people.
Earlier, the Deputy Commissioner gave a detailed resume on the present scenario of Leh District Plan and said that against the allocation of Rs 50 crore, the expenditure incurred by ending September last was to the tune of Rs. 17.25 crore which constitute 34.4 percent. |
