Jammu, Jun 10: A camp was held by NGO "Jiyo Aur Jeene Do " at Panchayat Mansar under which many villages including Pangara Jageer, Chanore and other adjoining villages were covered.
In this a cloth distribution programme was held where first of all sanitizers and masks were distributed among local people present there. Later on clothes bags , footwears and other necessary items were distributed to the needy people.
Briefing about the camp, President Tariq Shah said , " Today the organization has organized a clothes distribution camp in Pangara Jagir, Chanor as well as many other adjoining villages of Panchayat Mansar in which first of all, the people of rural areas were given sanitizers and masks were also distributed among them. People were made aware that the use of masks and sanitizers is very important to fight against the pandemic like Corona and along with this we made an appeal to all the people to participate enthusiastically in Vaccination Drive against Corona. We can protect ourselves from Corona through vaccination. Hence everyone above the age of eighteen should get vaccinated”.
The organization has been running a 'Cloth bank' for the last several years, under which clothes are distributed among needy families. Such camps have also been organized in far flung rural areas. Such work for humanity and environment will continue in future also. In the event along with President Tariq Shah, Programme Coordinator Neena Koul, Rajesh Khajuria, Santosh Kumari, Pawan along with Sarpanch Mansar, Hansraj, Kuldeep Kumar, Panch Sardar Bibi, Panch Jatti Bibi and local people were present. |
