JAMMU, June 13: Department of Physics Government Degree College (GDC) Bishnah organized an online extension lecture as well as quiz on theme COVID-19 Pandemic for the students, to commemorate “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”. The programme was organized under the guidance of the Principal Dr Anuradha Pandoh. The programme was organized by Ratika Sharma, Assistant Professor in the Deptt of Physics. The resource person in the program was Dr Shantanu R Joshi (Deptt of Clinical Pharmacological, Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai). In his lecture and interactive session, he talked about vaccination is the real solution of COVID, risk factor of COVID -19 in asthmatic and diabetic patient. The session last for one hour and ended by the vote of thanks by Dr.Sheetu Raina, Assistant Professor in Deptt of Zoology. After the lecture we have a quiz activity for the students whose result was declared today. The first position in quiz was bagged by Taniya Gandhral, the second position was bagged by Abisek Sadotra, Anmol Sharma and Anjali Sharmi and the third position by Monika Sandhu. Certificate of merit has been given given to the first three position holders and certificate of appreciation was given to all the participants. |
