| Volleyball trials from Oct 20 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 14: To select the state team for the forthcoming 31st Sub-junior National Volleyball Championships to be held in Jammu, Volleyball Association of Jammu and Kashmir has proposed to conduct open selection trials in boys and girls sections from November 27 to December three.
The trails shall be conducted at M A Stadium from October 20 to October 22 from 2.30 pm onwards. “All affiliated units and institutions of the Volleyball Association of J&K have been requested to send their outstanding players for trials,” general secretary of the Association, Kuldeep Magotra told SAN.
Players born on or after January Ist, 1993 are only eligible to participate in the proposed trials. “The players should produce Date of Birth Certificate issued by the head of the institution along with authority letter of the district president or secretary of the Association,” he informed.
After the trials are over, the coaching camp shall start from October 23 at volleyball court of M A Stadium in both morning and evening sessions. |
