JAMMU, June 13: Shri Guru Ravi Dass Satsang Society (SGRDSS) Jaswan celebrated the birthday of Late Advocate Babu Milkhi Ram in the premises of Shri Guru Ravi Dass Mandir Jaswan under the presidentship of Des Raj Sangral. While speaking on the occasion, Prof G L Thapa, president All J&K SC,ST Retired Employees Forum and working president of JKRCEA said that late Babu Milkhi Ram, was a great visionary leader. He was also elected as MLA. He worked as great social reformer. He made selfless service to the downtrodden in erstwhile J&K state.
Des Raj Sangral also paid tributes to the great leader and threw light on the life of Late Babu Milkhi Ram. He said that Babu Milkhi Ram organized many agitations, hunger strikes for the noble cause of upliftment of bahujans. He fought the election of MLA on the platform of Harijan Mandal. Those who paid tributes included Master Bus Ditta, Capt Harbans Lal, Milkhi Ram, Rattan Chand, Bihari Lal, Charan Dass, Jagat Ram, Mohan Lal, Ram Dass, Kali Ram and Bansi Lal. |
