JAMMU, Oct 14: Excelling in the inter-college swimming, Nikhil Puri of Government MAM College and Ramandeep Singh of Post Graduate (PG) Departments secured two gold each in different events of the competitions organized by the Department of Physical Education, University of Jammu at M A Stadium, here today.
While Nikhil won first positions in 20 meters back stroke and 200 meters free style events, Ramandeep of PG excelled in 100 and 200 meters breast stroke events.
Among other gold medal winners were Johny Sharma (50 mts free style) of Degree College Kathua, Jeevitesh Khoda (100 mts free style) of ASCOMS and Vinod (100 mts back stroke) of Degree College, Rajouri.

50 mts free style: Johny Sharma, Degree College Kathua, Ist; Gurmeet Singh, MAM, 2nd and Vipul Gupta, Bhargava College, third.
100 mts free style: Jeevitesh Khoda, ASCOMS, Ist; Sunny Sharma, Degree College Kathua, 2nd and Gurmeet, MAM, third.
200 mts free style: Nikhil Puri, MAM, Ist; Shatrugan, Degree College Akhnoor, 2nd and Dhruv Jain, Commerce College, third.
100 mts breast stroke: Vinod, Degree College Rajouri, Ist; Usman, ASCOMS, 2nd and Manoj, Degree College Kathua.
100 mts breast stroke: Ramandeep Singh, PG, Ist; Sunny Sharma, Degree College Kathua, 2nd and Ankit Kumar, Commerce College, third.
200 mts breast stroke: Ramandeep Singh, PG, Ist; Vikram Thaker, Commerce College, 2nd and Ajay Partap, Science College, third.
