| Kharka family donates Rs. 2.00 lakhs | | Hari Prabhu Ashray | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Oct 14: In a simple but an impressive function held here today in memory of late Krishan Dutt Kharka a renowned Forest Lessee (Ramkotewale), his wife Vidhya Devi Kharka and sons Dr. Kuldeep Gupta and Sudershan Gupta alongwith other members of family visited Hari Prabhu Ashray and donated a sum of Rs. 2.00 lakhs for the development of the Ashray. The office complex of Ashray was dedicated to late Krishan Dutt Kharka. On this occasion Kharka family also hosted a lunch to 300 persons. A colourful programme was also presented by the students of various schools in the vicinity of Nagrota Gujrroo. The cultural items like Folk dance, Dogri Songs and Desh Bhakti Songs were highly appreciated by the audience and it was observed that there is a great talent amongst the children. Speaking on the occasion I.D Soni Chief Patron Hari Prabhu Sanstha highlighted the achievements made by the Sanstha and appreciated Kharka family for taking keen interest in the development of the Ashray. He urged upon all the residents of billawar Tehsil in particular and Jammu province in general to come forward and work for the welfare of the weaker section of the society. |
