| Duggar party gets EC stamp | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 14: The election commission of India has registered the Duggar Pradesh Party (DPP) as a political party of Jammu region.
The president of DPP, Uday Chand in a press conference said, that DPP has provided a regional political platform beside an alternative to the people of Jammu region to end 61 years of political slavery of Kashmir based parties and politicians. He said there is a dire need to emerge a strong regional political force to fight for the self respect and identity of the people of all regions of Duggar Pradesh. He said DPP firmly believes that the politics of Kashmir under the voiced patronage of Delhi have tactfully made Jammu & Ladakh regions as permanent slave by creating less assembly seats, showing excess population in Kashmir in every censes, by giving much government employment to Kashmiries, landslide selections in professional colleges by increasing marks in Secondary School results favouring Kashmir students every year and so on. There is an endless discrimination in every sphere with the people of Jammu & Ladakh which cannot be removed till bifurcation of all three regions with separate administrative & political units on their separate geographical separation, cultural and lingual identities are formed, he added. |
