| Gandoh SHO gets warm send off | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 15: Thousands of local residents bid farewell to the outgoing suspended Station House Officer (SHO) Police Station Gandoh Inspector Tilak Raj Bhardwaj.
It is pertinent to mention here that Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Doda Parbhat Singh had placed SHO Police Station Gandoh and Munshi under suspension during his visit to the Police Station after police-public darbar.
Deputy Commissioner Doda Sharief Din and SSP Parbhat Singh had visited Gandoh on October 11 they attended a police public Darbar besides accessing the on going developmental works.
The action against the duo was taken following some complaints made by the locals during public darbar. The SHO was on leave when the SSP put him under suspension.
Sources said that resentment brewed up among the locals against the decision of SSP and they staged protest against the decision. The locals said that the SHO was working nicely in the area but the SSP placed him under suspension under the influence of some vested interests. .
Sources averred that Inspector Musaf Mirza has been posted as new SHO Police Station Gandoh in place of Tilak Raj Bhardwaj. |
