| VKK organizes mela for rural women | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 15: In connection with ‘International Rural Womens Day’, a mela for rural women was organized by the Viraj Kala Kendra (VKK) at village Jagti in Nagrota.
During the camp rural women participated in large number and took keen interest in folk painting competition. Craft prepared by the rural women was put on sale, and was purchased by the people who throng the mela. VKK also purchased some left over craft items. Organisers of the camp are organizing ‘All India women folk art painters’ camp in the city very shortly. |
