| Seminar held on climate change | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SUNDERBANI, Oct 15: A seminar sponsored by WWF was organized at Govt Middle School Massiot of tehsil Sunderbani on the topic “Climate change’.
The deputy chief education officer Nowshera Mahendev Singh was the chief guest and Forest Ranger Officer, Sunderabni N.C Sharma was the guest of honour on the occasion. The students from different schools participated in the seminar and Miss Tannu Sharma of High School Parat scored the first rank.
Speaking on the occasion, Forest Range officer, appreciated the role of volunteers of social organization “Saathi’ who prevented the local forest from forest fire in last summer season.
The Dy. CEO distributed prizes from the local funds of the school to the students who had achievements in different fields. He also awarded the student of the school who got first position and scored gold medal in state level athletic competition last year. |
