JAMMU, Oct 16: To pay homage to student martyrs f 1966, the activists of Jammu Joint Students Federation (JJSF) sat on three day hunger strike at Shaheedi Sathal near GGM Science College here today.
Speaking on the occasion JJSF president Pushvinder Singh appealed to the students be united and fight fr the cause which martyrs of 66, S Gurcharan Singh, Gulshan Handa, Brij Mohan and Subash Chand aid there lives. He asked the students to get rid of Kashmiri rulers. Principal of science college, Prof Vijay Kotwal along with staff paid floral tributes to the martyrs at the Shaheedi Sathal.
Prominent persons present on the occasion were Rajinder Jamwal, Sunil Kumar, MS Baloria, Principal M A M College, Partap Singh Jamwal, Satvir Jamwal, Satwant Singh, Billa Chib, Koushal Sharma, Shivang Kapoor, Rohit Bali, Rahul and Gurjeet Singh. |
