| KPs frame Kashmir Sangarsh Samiti | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Oct 16: To fight against the bias attitude of state and centre governments towards the plight of Kashmiri Pandit community for the last 20 years, a temporarily body named ‘Kashmiri Sangarsh Samiti,’ has been formed by the prominent personalities and intellectuals of the community with Prof. K.N. Pandita as its convenor at a meeting hold at Kashmiri Pandit Sabha, Amphalla, here today. In the meeting which was attended by convenor Amarnath Sangarsh Samiti Leela Karan Sharma as chief guest adopted three resolution moved by Dr. R.L. Bhat on the occasion, and were unanimously passed. The resolution say that the Kashmir Hindu temples and Shrine Bill which was stated for introduction in the State Legislative Assembly, early this year be promulgated as an ordinance immediately to be passed by future legislature without delaying it. A development board, with members elected from the displaced people to cater to the day to day economic health, education and employment problems, faced by the displaced community, and the 3rd is that the exiled minority be declared politically deprived section and statutory space be reserved for them in assembly and parliament, the electoral process the made relevant to them and the voting process should be made easy and accessible to them. |
