DC Kishtwar reviews functioning of Revenue Department
Directs for updation of Revenue Records in time bound manner

KISHTWAR, June 25: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kishtwar, Ashok Sharma, today reviewed functioning of Revenue Department in an officers meeting here at conference Hall DC office Complex Mini secretariat.
Additional District Development Commissioner Kishtwar Sham Lal; SDM Chatroo, Inderjeet Parihar; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Akhter Hussain Qazi; SDM Marwah, Dr. Moshin Raza; besides All Tehsildars and other concerned officers attended the meeting.
During the meeting, the DC took a detailed status review of the progress in the deposition of Jamabandis Parat, Patwar/Parat Sarkar, Girdawaries, attestation of mutations, progress on eviction of encroachment from State, Kahcharai, Common land and forest land and took tehsil-wise stock of the progress on the digitization of revenue record
The DC set July 7, 2021 as deadline for completion and deposition of Jamabandies Parat Patwar/Parat Sarkar and Girdawaries in all respects.
While reviewing the progress on removal of encroachments, the DC exhorted upon the concerned officers to keep strict vigil to prevent encroachment.
He directed Tehsildars to set targets for Naib Tehsildars to evict minimum 200 kanal government land per Niyabat before next review meeting and also ensure submission of photographs and copy of Roznamcha.
He further asked the concerned to remove encumbrances in the attestation of the mutations.
He also asked the concerned to attest the inheritance and other mutations within the stipulated timeline.
He directed concerned revenue officers to submit monthly reports and desired information for further submission to higher authorities well in time without any fail.
Furthermore, he directed Tehsildars to ensure the implementation of the COVID 19 Appropriate Behaviour (CAB) in their respective jurisdictions and take stringent action against the violators.
The status of the pending ACB/court cases and enquiries were also reviewed in the meeting.
