Jammu, June 25: J&K attended a online National Conference on “SMART SUMMIT – 2021” (Science, Medicine, Agriculture, Research and Technology) organized by the PEARL - A Foundation for Educational Excellence Awards to Higher Education in India today on 19th June, 2021.
The main theme of the online SUMMIT-2021 was to honour and confer awards to the Academicians, Scientists, Administrators, Research Scholars and Institutions in the various fields for the year 2020.
The award scrutinizing expert’s committee of the foundation has selected the name of Dr. Bharat Singh for “BEST ASSISTANT PROFESSOR AWARD IN PHYSICS” for the year 2020 and this award was conferred to him by chief guest Hon’ble Justice Shri B. Pugalendhi, Judge, Madurai bench of Madras High Court, Madurai, Tamilnadu and Prof. Dr. K. Muthuchelian (former Vice-Chancellor Periyar University Salem, Tamil Nadu & Pro Vice Chancellor, Dayananda Sagar University, Bengalore during this SUMMIT. During this online award ceremony galaxy of prominent Scientists, academicians, Administrators were present. Last year he was also honoured with Best Young Scientist Award in Physics. During his Ph.D he had got two opportunities to attend the workshop and International conference at France, Grenoble and he was selected for both these events on the basis of his research work and all the expenses were covered by the organizing Committee of the events.
