JAMMU, Oct 16: In exercise of the powers vested under him, the District Magistrate, Jammu, Dr Mandeep K Bhandari, has ordered that no person or group of persons will stand, sit, assemble anywhere within a radius of 100 meters of the examination centres for 10th private, bi-annual-2008 unless the place of standing/sitting/assembling is a public thorough fare, private house, office, religious place or any other type of accommodation/premises which is being used for legitimate/bonafide activities.
This order has been issued to curb menace of copying and ensure fair conduct of secondary school examination (10th) private, bi-annual-2008 and shall remain in force from the date of examination till the examinations are over or with expiry of two months whichever is earlier. |
