| Over 4.17 lakh pilgrims pay obeisance at Shiv Khori | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT REASI, Oct 16: Shiv Khori Cave Shrine is fast emerging as a major pilgrimage destination in Jammu region after Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine. Since January 1st, over 4.17 lakh pilgrims from within and various parts of the country visited the historic Shiv Khori which is situated 3- kms away from village Ransoo in Pouni block of the Reasi district. This was revealed by the Deputy Commissioner, Reasi, Sanjeev Verma who is also the Vice Chairman of Shri Shiv Khori Shrine Board here today. He said the Shrine Board is making all out efforts to provide more and more infrastructural facilities to the visiting pilgrims. He said a five multi storeyed waiting halls, shelter sheds and Sarai are fast coming up at Ransoo at a cost of Rs.2.50 crore. |
