Jammu, Sept12-- The former J&K Chief Minister, Dr. Farooq Abdullah has expressed satisfaction that the policy of industrialisation of state, initiated by his government, by inviting industrialists from outside the state to set up their units here, has started paying dividends, with a good number of industrial houses in the country setting up their units at the Industrial Growth Centre (IGC) Samba in Jammu. Dr. Abdullah expressed these views while congratulating Sh. Ravi Kumar, of Jullundhar, Managing Director S.L. Rubber Industries, manufacturing Rice Rubber Rolls and Polishers in IGC Samba. The latter, along with some other industrialists from Jallandhar in Punjab, who have set up their units at IGC Samba called on him, at Jammu. Farooq Abdullah expressed remorse that due to his indisposition, he could not keep up the date to come to the launching of Rice Rubber Rolls and Polishers by the S.L. Industries, to which he was invited as a Chief Guest. Thus he missed an opportunity to have interaction with some industrialists from outside the state, setting up their units in Jammu, who had gathered on the occasion. --------------------- Photo Caption
