| Bhim demands shifting of partial darbar move to winter capital | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Oct 16: Prof. Bhim Singh, Chairman JKNPP has urged state Governor N.N Vohra to shift partial Darbar move by keeping all records and files pertaining to Kashmir Province in Srinagar civil secretariat with half of the advisors attending the work in Srinagar. Only files relating to Jammu Province should be moved to Jammu Secretariat. This is necessary in the interest of the residents of the Valley and the weather conditions prevailing in the Valley, Prof Singh said while addressing a press conference here today and added as to why the residents of the valley particularly Kupwara, Karnah, Kargil should remain deprived of their freedom and right to seek redressal of the basic and human problem of six months. Panthers Party Chief said with this move crores of rupees shall also be saved and low paid employees shall also get the benefit of the situation. Prof Singh declared to knock the door of the Supreme Court in case Election Commission of India failed to announce elections schedule in J&K. He questioned the sincerity and morality of J&K Congress leaders about their attitude towards Delimitation of Assembly Constituencies. He said that Congress, PDP and NC are enemies of people and that is why they have been opposing Delimitation. He asked in case elections are deferred, why the Governor should not constitute Delimitation Commission. |
