| Rehman tours far flung areas of Doda, Ramnagar | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Oct 17: The state president of Samajwadi Party (SP) visited far flung areas of district Doda, Ramnagar, Basantgarh, Markhoo and Tungalina and addressed number of public meetings. He said Congress, National Conference, BJP and PDP Panther party ruled the state, but neglected the far flung areas of the state as far as development in concern. He said people are still without proper road linking shortage of drinking water, Electricity, and no school, through country celebrated its 60 years of Independence. Rehman urged upon the people of these areas support SP at the time of elections and teach lesson to these party who played truant with them in the name of development. He said after district Doda, distt. Kishtwar is also under severe drought, but no ration is being supplied to the affected public and whatever schools have been upgraded, the staff and infrastructure, for which is negligible, Sheikh complained and said that for instance, the newly upgraded Ten Plus two School at Chirala is having only two lecturers for teaching purpose and the building is in shambles. Similarly new upgraded High School at Puneja is having only three teachers. Sheikh said and added the other areas depict more or less the same picture. The SP leader further appealed the people not to allow themselves to be mislead by the false promises of the Coalition partners, on one hard, and communal parties poisonous proganda, on the other hand and for the unity and integrity of the country support the Samajwadi Party. |
