Child Help Group holds meeting

JAMMU, July 6: A meeting of the Child Help Group was held today under the chairmanship of Sudhir Singh Station Director, DTM/JAT at Railway Station Jammu.
The Child Help Desk Coordinator Shubam Anupam formally wdelcome the Station Director & presented the detailed annual activities report for the year 2020-2021.
Manjari Singh State In charge discussed about the SOPs issued by the Ministry of Woman and Child Development (GOI) for Child Care and Child Protection in and around Railway Stations. Singh emphasized for close coordination and cooperation among all the stakeholders of Child Help Group and CHILDLINE Child Help Desk.
After review of the Annual Report, Child Care and Child Protection activities at Station, the Station Director patiently listened to the problems being faced by the CHD, Railway Station, Jammu. After the threadbare discussion Director issued the necessary directions to the concerned for immediate redressal of the problems/challenges faced by the CHD.
Station Director also call on toll free number 1098 for check the response of CHILDLINE and feel satisfied with the response.
In the meeting Rajeev Sabharwal Station Superintendent, Pardeep Kumar CMI, Niraj Kumar CHI, Basanti CIT, Zahid Ali, SSE, Project Director CHD, Mohd. Aslam SI GRP, Shabir Ahmed SI RPF and representatives from Coolie Unions and Railway Porters Unions were also present.
