JAMMU, July 6: In a public meeting organized by Corporator Ward 26 Hardeep Singh Mankotia, Ex MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma listened to the problems being faced by the inhabitants of Subash Nagar. BJP Mandal President Raveesh Mengi, District General Secretary BJP Karan Sharma, a large number of local residents and political activists were also present during the visit of Former MLA in the Ward.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that a fruitful discussion was held with the locals and many things came up during interaction, where the locals stressed for taking up some utmost important works in the area besides completing the same within stipulated time frame.
He said that their main problems included acute shortage of water supply and installation of a new transformer in the area.
He said within days, the concerned departments will take up their demands and will solve it at the earliest. Sharma called the concerned officials of various departments and forwarded the grievances of the people to them for which officials assured that their demand will be met shortly and wherever required, developmental works will be taken up in all areas of Jammu West.
Hardeep Singh said that no area of Jammu West is left behind in terms of development and every sphere is developed to its fullest including Ward 26 which saw a massive development under the leadership of Former MLA and now as a Corporator, many pending works are being taken up in the Ward which has provided development in all spheres of the Ward.
Raveesh and Karan hailed the proactive approach of Former MLA and said that nearly three years have passed since dissolution of Assembly in J&K took place, but still Former MLA is working on ground to provide every possible assistance to masses which has led to overall development of Jammu West.
Jatin Gupta, Subash Gupta, Purshottam Khajuria, Sham Gupta, Kaku, Purshottam Chib, RK Jain, Sadeep, Gandotra, Sudesh Sharma, Sheweta Kotwal and others were present.
