| VC opens technical Fest at SMVDU | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATRA, Oct 19: Vice Chancellor, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Prof. N. K. Bansal today inaugurated Titiksha 08, a technical festive, in the state-of-the-art Matrika Auditorium and called for greater participation of the students in extra-curricular activities along side academics.
Prof. Bansal stressed the importance of such events in the cultural evolution of an institution in particular and the society in general and said that such activities play a vital role in broadening the horizon of a student and encourages. Students must be provided with such platforms to display their practical skills so that they are able to apply the concepts learnt in the classroom on real working models, he added. |
