Directs to complete all 222 allotted works within set timeline
DDC Doda reviews physical, financial status of B2V-3 works

DODA, July 12: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Doda, Vikas Sharma today convened the meeting of all key officers of RDD and various Executing agencies at the meeting hall of DC office and reviewed physical and financial status of works approved under flagship programme B2V-3.
During the meeting, the DDC sought in detail and updated figures block wise with regard to the estimation, tendering, allotment and completion of B2V-3 works, besides enquiring about issues if any hampering the execution of works.
Executive Engineer REW informed that till now 591 works have been tendered out of 732 works pertaining to the RDD sector, in which 222 works have been allotted.
Further regarding the B2V-3 works pertaining to other departments, the DDC was informed that 9 feasible works were tendered by PDD Doda out of 23 works. Other 14 works shall be tendered after necessary corrigendum so as to make them feasible. Similarly 6 works pertaining to PDD Kishtwar division shall be tendered shortly.
Out of three works pertaining to PWD one has been completed and another needs corrigendum by competent authority. Similarly Jal Shakti Division Doda has floated tenders for one work and out of remaining 11 works only 4 are feasible which shall be tendered shortly.
DDC directed the concerned authorities and executing agencies to float the tenders of all the feasible works within two days and monitor the progress of allotted works on a daily basis for timely completion.
The DDC directed the concerned to float the tender on block level in the works where tenders were floated at Panchayat level twice but not successful due to low competition at Panchayat level, with the supporting documents from Gram sabha.
DC directed the concerned officers to monitor estimation and tendering process of approved works on fast track basis for timely completion.
The meeting was attended by CPO Doda, ADDC Doda, SE PWD, ACD Doda, ACP Doda All BDOs, Executive Engineer REW, representative of Jal Shakti Division Doda besides other concerned officers and officials.
