JAMMU: Terrorists gunned down a couple suspecting them to be police informers in Jammu and Kashmir's frontier district of Rajouri early Tuesday.
According to police, terrorists barged into the house of Jamal Din, 50, in village Dhand in Kandi area of Rajouri, about 200 km north of Jammu, at around 4:00 am and pumped bullets into him and his wife Guddo Begum, 45.
This kind of killings, say police, has a clear motive: terrorists suspect the victims to be police informers.
No group has claimed responsibility for the killings so far. Police are making efforts to trace the killers. |
