JU Udhampur campus organizes international lecture

JAMMU, July 15: The Udhampur Campus, University of Jammu organised International lecture in collaboration with the University of Jammu Special Purpose Vehicle Fund under Udhampur Campus Capacity Building Series (UCCBS) on the topic "Maslow's Theory of Needs for Business Development: A Case Study Approach."
The resource person, Prof.(Dr.) Anton Vorina, School of Economics, Vocational College, Celje., Slovenia in his address stated that electricity, love, and money depict the future of the world. He said Career planning refers to the strategy a person uses to determine career goals and the path to achieve those goals.
The process integrates various activities, including how to motivate our self, about spiritual needs, new model of Maslow's theory of needs, business development, strategies to defeat the various challenges in life and in the business world. During the session, the participants get familiar with the practical implications of Maslow's need hierarchy in the personal as well as professional life. Business development is a multi-stage process that needs to be thoroughly planned and executed to reap the desired benefits.
Earlier, Professor Parikshat Singh Manhas, Rector, Udhampur Campus in his welcome address said that that it is indeed a very proud moment for the Udhampur Campus to organise such an innovative international event which is a need of the hour but also had become an issue of paramount importance in the present pandemic scenario.
We all have to work enthusiastically under the dynamic leadership of Prof Manoj K Dhar, Vice-Chancellor, University of Jammu to make Udhampur Campus, University of Jammu a vibrant campus, a symbol of skill-oriented, career developing and personality building educational hub.
Earlier, Mamta Sharma (Lecturer in Commerce), coordinator of the event, while giving the brief introduction about the webinar focused that Maslow's need hierarchy provides a base for motivation to all the individuals starting from the accomplishment of their basic needs and moving step by step towards self actualization. There were 130 registrations for the international lecture from various colleges and universities from the different state of India. It is pertinent to mention that there were registrations from other countries like Slovenia, European Federation and Serbia. Mamta Sharma also presented a formal vote of thanks.
Among others All the teaching faculty that inlcudes Dr. Neetu Kumari, Taruna Dubey. Dr. Shilpa Gupta, Dr. Kamini Datta, Dr. Ritika Sambyal, Mr. Nikhil Khajuria, Dr. Ajay Salgotra and Mr. Vinod Kumar. Were also present on the occasion.
