The awardees showed great concern over the non sports activities in the state and discussed union govt. model of Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. It is pertinent to mention that youth services department in J&K is non functional over the decades. The federation demanded that there is a need to form a J&K non sports youth council who will work directly under the Ministry of Youth services, J&K for the well being of non sports youth. There should be a separate budget allocation for the youth council for smooth functioning.
