| Batwals demand old age pension, scholarship | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 20: The Association of Urban Batwal Community in a communication to Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has sought its attention towards the plight of old aged persons and students of the community.
As per press release community alleged that neither the old aged persons were given the pension by the Social Welfare Department nor the students who have applied for scholarships till date.
Association President R.L Kaith along with Dharminder Lakhotra and other members of the community visited Govt Medical College and Hospital and donated blood for the needy persons. |
