New Delhi, September 11 Hinduja Group Flagship Ashok Leyland has reported a 37% increase in sales for the month of August 2006. Total vehicle sales were 6,483 nos, up 37%, as compared to 4,737 nos Aug'05. Cumulative year on year sales are up to 29% while cumulative domestic sales up 28%, to 26,463 vehicles, a press statement issued by the company said.
