JAMMU, Oct 21: Holding the Congress, National Conference & People Democratic Party for being responsible of alleged political slavery of Jammu in this state, a senior activist & Member, state working committee of the Bhartiya Janta Party Onkr Seth ridiculed the pleas of the Congress that they would undo the political discrimination against Jammu, if they are voted to power with 2/3rd majority.
Similarly the National Conference promised to appoint a new commission headed by a Supreme Court Judge to look into the discontent of regional discriminations in Jammu, Ladakh and Kashmir valley is yet another trick to hoodwink the people of Jammu and Ladakh.
Seth said that the geographical area of Jammu is almost double to that of the valley and the electorates of the two divisions are almost equal. Still Jammu has been provided just 37 assembly seats, whereas the valley of Kashmir has been bestowed 40 seats, thus subjugating Jammu region under the valley.
