Statehood restoration, protection of rights to land, jobs to locals high on Congress agenda, says JKPCC spokesperson

NOWSHERA/SUNDERBANI, Aug 1: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) Chief Spokesperson Adv Ravinder Sharma has said that restoration of statehood with protectlon of rights to land and jobs are high on the agenda of congress along with holding of early assembly elections to provide elected govt in Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing series of meetings of party workers in the Nowshera constituency during hectic tour of the area, Sharma told them that restoration of statehood with rights to land and jobs is the on the top of our agenda and demanded early elections after early completion of the delimitation exercise in a fair and transparent manner. He apprised the workers and public that congress has asked the commission to hold the exercise in a transparent manner taking into confidence the people at the grass root levels about the proposed changes.
Reiterating the demand for implementation of the report of the cabinet sub-committee for creation of new districts including the one for Sunderbani -Nowshera and Kalakote.
Sharma said that congress has created all the existing infrastructure in the area while bjp failed to complete the projects started or initiated by his efforts as MLC including degree college building sunderbani, lift irrigation Beripattan, 100 beds hospital buildings at Sunderbani and Nowshera, although the design and forms of which which stands modified .failure to complete the sanctioned stadium and industrisl estates at Sunderbani and Lamberi
Seven years have lapsed but the major projects are incomplete while BJP leaders claim lots of development. All administrative units such as Tehsils and blocks and SDM without office buildings and revenue complex at Sunderbani in deplorable condition.
The people are highly fed up of the economic policies and unprecedented price rise and betrayal of mandate as all promises of good governance and lot of job opportunities and regularisation of daily wagers , casual ,need based and contractual employees is only fake promise and false assurances. Meanwhile the office bearers of BCC Sunderbani and youth congress held protest against BJP govt today .
