| Nowshera division conducts plantation drive | | |  Early Times Report
NOWSHERA, Aug 2: A plantation drive was conducted at Panchayat Channi B, wherein BDC chairman Seot, Balkrishan Sharma, Sarpanch Anita Sharma, Naib Sarpanch Mohd Ashraf, FRC secretary, members of BMC and other native persons of that village showed active participation.
Seed balls of different species of plants were also distributed among all the participants. The entire plantation was carried out by Beat guard Channi Yesh Paul Sharma in presence of BO Sunderbani and other field staff. Balkrishan Sharma Chairman BDC Seot presided another drive at village Thandapani which was also attended by Sarpanch Prem Kumar and other members of PRI and FRC. The drive was conducted by Arun Kumar Beat Guard Thandapani.
Another drive was conducted by Suraj Parkash Beat Guard Hardumalara Panchayat Rah in which Sarpanch Bawa Ditta, panches PRI members, local people and ladies participated in plantation of different species of seed balls and plants of fruits, fodder and timber were also distributed among participants.
A plantation drive was held at Kangri which was organised by Ashok Kumar Beat Guard Meenka in which Sarpanch Anil Kumar Naiv Sarpanch Pawan Kumar and other members of PRI members of BMC and FRC were also present on the occasion. Seed balls were distributed among all the participants besides plantation of Medicinal and other fodder plants.
All the drives were conducted under the direct supervision of B. Mohandas IFS Conservator of Forests West Circle Rajouri, Suresh Manda IFS Divisional Forest Officer Nowhera and Rakesh Verma Range Officer Sunderbani. |
