| Several deputations call on Ghulam Nabi Azad | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 2: Several deputations called on Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad and apprised him of various problems.
Deputations include doctors, transporters, Drivers union, taxi union, tea stall union and many more who have expectations from congress party and Azad Sahib. Workers of the congress party were over whelmed by his visit and Azad sahib gave ample time to the workers. This has pumped new energy among the party workers.
In Akhnoor people face huge damage in the form of live stock. Government of J&K UT took no serious steps and people are in shambles. From 2008 to 2014 and after no leader had given time to party workers the way Gulam Nabi Azad had given to the party and its workers. Many former ministers, MLC and seniors leaders urged Azad Sahib that few leaders are creating indiscipline in the party. They also requested Smt. Sonia Gandhi through Azad Sahib that there should be high level inquiry against such leaders for creating indiscipline and if found guilty such leaders should be shown way out of the party.
Harinder Vicky Mahajan S/O late Janak Raj Gupta Ex. M.P coordinated with all the deputations and made sure that all the deputations should meet the senior congress leader. Each and every deputation got ample time to put forward the grievances, suggestions etc.
Meeting under the chairmanship of Kirtan Singh, Senior Congress leader in which Vicky Mahajan, Th. Jai Singh, Nirmal Singh Mehta, Naresh Maini, Mohinder Singh, Parmod Sharma, Sobat Ali, Charanjeet Singh, Baljeet Singh Manhas, Bachan Singh and others were present. |
