| Kranti Dal claims to contest at 37 seats | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Oct 23: The Kranti Dal (KD) party has decided to contest all the 37 seats of Jammu region for assembly elections to be held in November and December 2008 as announced by the Election Commission of India. Aman Sharma, president KD, while addressing the press conference here today said that KD is committed to fight against all anti Jammu forces which for the last 61 years did nothing for Jammu people but only made them a tool and vote bank. He said it is due to this that KD had decided to contest all the seats in the region. Referring to Sangarsh Samti decision of contesting the election, from one plateform KD will obey their decision for the sake of Jammu people. Sharma also lambasted the state govt for curtailment of electricity supply in the Jammu for more than 13 hours a day which has badly effected the studies of school, college students as well as the water supply to harass the Jammu people. Kranti Dal warned the states as well as state central Govt. to resume the regular supply with immediate effect. Otherwise face the music because Kranti Dal won’t tolerate the discrimination any more, he said. The prominent among those who were present Labha Ram Gandhi, Jia Lal Verma, Retd.
