| Ganai takes over as Home Secretary | | | EARLY TIMES REPORG
SRINAGAR, Oct 23: Khurshid Ahmad Ganai, today took over as Principal Secretary, Home Department.
In his first interaction with the officers of the Home Department, Ganai emphasized on development of a healthy work culture and speedy disposal of the cases. He said that he was in favour of more decentralization and delegation of powers so as to reduce unnecessary movement of files.
The officers assured him of their wholehearted cooperation in ensuring smooth functioning of the department.
Among others Farooq Ahmad Peer, Secretary Home and Jahangir Mir, Additional Secretary were also present in the meeting. |
