| Goenka students organize cultural event | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 24: Students of G D Goenka public school organized cultural programme to highlight the reasons for celebrating the festival of lights (Deepawali). All the students attired in traditional dresses enjoyed the programme and made it a memorable event. On the occasion a skit based on the coronation of Lord Rama as king of Ayodhya staged by class IV students was appreciated by the audience present on the occasion.
The main attraction of the day was visit to J R C Home for handicaps, Udaywala by the students and offered sweets and diyas to them to lighten up this festival. |
