| Charak confident of Congress forming next Govt | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Oct 25: Being an optimist about the formation of next govt in J&K, former minister and MLC, Gulchain Singh Charak, said that Congress will form next govt. He was addressing the press conference in Jammu. He further said that Congress will do much better that last elections and we will not project any Chief ministerial candidate. We don’t have any dearth of any leaders and central high command will take decision on this. Congress party will have not pre-poll alliance with any party and would go along in the elections. If fractured mandate will emerge, then we will think over it. Charak, who also was nominated as co-chairman of publicity and press cell of the party said that we will go to people with our development works. Earlier, he along with Garu Ram, former minister addressing media persons, said that due to recent hailstorm in border areas of Bishnah and R.S Pura, he demanded special package for farmers of border areas for the losses of their paddy crops occurred due to recent hailstorm be doled out to meet their both ends meet and added that compensation for the damage caused to the roofs of the houses. He further said, desilting of canals & disturbances be carried out well in time before the next paddy season in whole of the area, repair of irrigation tube wells at the earliest and special arrangements for providing seeds and fertilizers to the farmers, he added. |
