8/13/2021 11:28:06 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 13: Condemning yesterday's grenade attack in the heart of Rajouri town, that left a two year old child dead and six other civilians injured, Team Jammu termed the attack as barbaric act and asked the administration to identify and neutralize the anti-national forces immediately to restore confidence of the people.
"Confidence of the people in general and minority community in particular has badly shattered due to such dastardly attack in Rajouri district", Chairman of Team Jammu, Zorawar Singh Jamwal said while addressing the meeting of volunteers of Team Jammu at its headquarters here today.
During the meeting, Zorawar Singh Jamwal cautioned the authorities against adopting delay tactics in nabbing the culprits. He said that it indicates that it was part of the deep rooted conspiracy to create fear psychosis among minority community living in hilly belts of Jammu Province. He further cautioned that some forces inimical to peace were hell bent to create communal divide in peaceful region through their nefarious designs.
Jamwal exhorted the people to unitedly meet the challenge posed by elements inimical to peace and tranquility. "Words fall short in times like these to express anguish over the loss of a two year old child and grievous injuries to innocent civilians", said he and added "it is an utter cowardice act and now is the time to wipe out terrorists and their supporters from Jammu and Kashmir. Unnerved by crackdown on separatists and terrorists, Pakistan and its sponsored terrorists are trying to show their existence by carrying out such ghastly acts. This is an appropriate time to once again destroy terrorists' training camps established in Pakistan."
Among others present during the meeting included Anupam Sambyal, Rakesh Mishra, Rajeshwar Sharma, Rishu Chib, Sunil Raipuria, J P Singh, Surinder Sharma, Raju Sharma, Ashok Kumar, Dr Ashish Gupta, Sumit Dusgotra, Karan Deep Thakur, Badal Sharma, Ishan Chowdhary, Bhanu Partap, Deepak Gupta, Ajay Saini, Arun Jojra, Ashwani Gajraj, Sanjay Verma and Sameer Gupta.
