| GDC Sidhra organizes inter-college competition | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 14: In view of celebration of 75 years of Independence to commemorate Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav NSS unit of GDC Sidhra organized an online Inter-College Singing Competition (Patriotic song) under the patronage of worthy Principal Dr. Monika Sharma.
Large number of students from various colleges across the UT participated in the event with full enthusiasm. The participants were judged by Prof Harpreet Kour Head Department of Political Science GDC Sidhra and Dr. Anshu Gupta Head Deparment of Environmental Sciences GDC Sidhra. The result of the activity was declared on 14th of August 2021.
In singing competition Surjeet Kumar of B.A SemVI of GDC R.S Pura and Komal Devi of B.A Sem II GDC Bhaderwah were adjudged first while Sangeeta Devi of B.A Sem VI, Shivani Devi of B.A Sem II GDC Bhaderwah Deepak Dogra of GDC R.S Pura shared the second position. The third slot was shared by Irshad Akhter B.A Sem II GDC Sidhra, Shikha Padha B.A Sem II GDC Bhaderwah and Heena Devi GDC Reasi.
Principal Dr. Monika Sharma also appreciated the efforts of all the enthusiastic participants and congratulated the meritorious participants
The event was organized by Dr. Mehmood Ahmed Program Officer NSS GDC Sidhra, Prof Deepa kak Head Department of Education and Prof. Satbir Kour Head Department of Punjabi GDC Sidhra.
