| Workshop on ‘Diya, candle making’ organized | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 26: A day long workshop on “Diya and candle making” was organized by PG Department of Home Science (CRM&E) here today in which over 50 students participated. An exhibition- cum- sale of the products was also put up in the college premises. Dr. Rajinder Singh Principal of the college was the chief guest on the occasion. Dr. Savitri Sharma addressing the students highlighted the importance of lighting diyas and candles on the auspicious festival of Diwali and wished the students a bright and prosperous Diwali. The Principal congratulated the faculty members of the department for the good work and hoped that such kind of workshops would be held in future as well. |
