| JMCC discusses future charter | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Oct 26: The Jammu Muslim Coordination Committee (JMCC) members finalized its future organizational programmes at a meeting held here today. In the meeting it was decided that within a period of two months in every district of the region JMCC units will be opened. The JMCC will be organizing public meetings at various places in the region for making people, particularly Muslims, aware of the day to day political and social developments taking place in the state, country and in the world. Gather necessary information about existing plight of the Muslims of different areas of the region, their needs and share in the local administration and the ways necessary for ensuring their participation in the composite life of the society. Explore the possibilities of setting up coaching centres at the remote areas of the region for helping the Muslim students desirous of taking competitive examinations at national level. Taking necessary steps for raising funds for the organization. The Muslim Coordination Committee in the meeting wishes Happy Diwali to all the Jammuites. Members who participated in the meeting include Prof. Zahur-ud-Din, Ashiq Hussain, B.A Rafiqi, Ishtiaq Qazi, Anwar Choudhary, Abdul Gani Malik and A.S Rather. |
