Former Mayor felicitates local girl selected as flying officer

Jammu, Aug 26: Former Mayor Choudhary Manmohan Singh President AIJMS J&K visited Kangwala Village, Distt Samba to felicitate local girl, Priyanka Choudhary, D/O Ch.Ujjagar Singh, who is selected as Flying Officer in Indian Air Force.
Ch.Manmohan Singh presented her with the prestigious momento of being the pride of their Jat Biradari, in the presence of senior Jat leaders from Kathua, Hiranagar, Samba, Vijaypur, Bishnah, R.S.Pura & Jammu. Choudhary congratulated and wished the elated proud parents. Priyanka Choudhary hails from Kangwala village in Samba, which is hardly 2 kms away from International Border.
Ch.Manmohan Singh in his addressal told everyone that living on Border is not a life without its struggle. Families suffer and face losses every day.
But the impact of this situation on our youth is long lasting.
Their education process is hindered, making them under qualified for jobs. And while we are facing the repercussions of border disturbances, girls like Priyanka comes forward and shows us that with hardwork and determination, our children can achieve any thing they set their mind on. Ch.Manmohan Singh lauded her parents for raising such daughter and proving to everyone that our daughters are no less than boys. Choudhary said that in recent years he has seen so many examples of such families where parents encourage their daughters to dreams and achieve them.
