| Saplings planted at CEO’s office premises under ongoing plantation drive | | |

JAMMU, Aug 26: Under the ongoing plantation drive, saplings of various types were planted in the premises of Chief Education Office (CEO) Jammu by Chief Education Officer Jammu, Suraj Singh Rathore, Dy Chief Education Officer Jammu D.S Manhas and DEPO Balbir Sudan under the supervision of Director School Education Jammu. This initiative was taken by Distt. Nodal Officer, Plantation Drive Narinder Singh Chib Ravinder Singh, Darshan Sharma and Ajay Kumar, members of the Plantation Drive Committee Distt Jammu. Chief Education Officer and others present on the occasion highlighted the importance of plantation to keep the environment green and pollution free & appealed all to plant the trees to protect environment. He lauded the role of plantation drive in the interest of society & advised to take pledge for continuous plantation in coming seasons also.
Narinder Singh Chib, District Nodal officer accompanied by members plantation drive thanked officers and officials for their guidance and goodwill gesture shown on the pious occasion & re-assured the continuous efforts in the ongoing plantation drive. |
