DB directs govt to consider grant of administrative approval

JAMMU, Aug 31: In a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed by Suresh Kumar & others regarding dilapidated condition of Munsiff Court Akhnoor Building, a Division Bench of Jammu & Kashmir High Court comprising Chief Justice Pankaj Mithal and Justice Sanjay Dhar disposed of the PIL with the direction that the Law Secretary and Secretary PWD (R&B) and, if necessary, the Chief Engineer and the Registrar General of the High Court, may sit together and resolve all issues so that the DPR in the final shape without any discrepancy is put forward before the government within a month and thereafter it is expected that the Government would consider the grant of administrative approval to the DPR most expeditiously preferably within two months.
